Known the world over for its success in navigation, Garmin recently released the first-ever Android smartphone / Garmin navigation device through T-Mobile.
To launch the much-anticipated Garminfone, digital agency Garrigan Lyman worked with an agency partner to create a web destination that’s all about destinations. GLG’s user experience experts began by writing the technical architecture for the site. Once the site was designed, GLG’s developers took the reins, building the site’s technical foundation and optimizing it for maximum performance. The film production team then went to work on five feature videos, which break new creative ground by portraying Garminfone against a backdrop of real-life scenarios. The site copy and metadata are optimized for SEO, and to help get the word out, everything can be shared either by email or directly to any of the major social networks. A smart site for a pretty smart phone.
